PharmaMG ("we", "our", "us") is a mobile application that helps users find pharmacies and order medicines in Madagascar. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information when you use our app.

  • Account Information: When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture.
  • Location Data: With your permission, we access your device location to show pharmacies near you. Location data is only used while the app is active and is not stored on our servers.
  • Order Data: When you place orders, we store order details (medicines, quantities, delivery address) to process and fulfill your requests.
  • Reviews: If you write pharmacy reviews, the content is stored and publicly visible alongside your display name.
  • Pharmacy Data: Pharmacy owners who register their business provide pharmacy name, address, business hours, and inventory information.

3. How We Use Your Information

  • Display nearby pharmacies based on your location
  • Process and fulfill medicine orders
  • Enable communication between customers and pharmacies
  • Display your reviews to other users
  • Send order confirmations and delivery updates
  • Improve the app experience and fix bugs

4. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored securely using industry-standard encryption. We use Google Cloud Platform infrastructure and Supabase (PostgreSQL) for data storage. All data transfers are encrypted using TLS/SSL. We do not sell or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

5. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

  • Google Sign-In: For authentication. Subject to Google's Privacy Policy.
  • Google Maps: For displaying pharmacy locations. Subject to Google's Privacy Policy.
  • Expo Push Notifications: For sending order updates. We only send notifications you have opted into.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate data
  • Request deletion of your account and associated data
  • Withdraw consent for location access at any time through your device settings
  • Opt out of push notifications

7. Children's Privacy

PharmaMG is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us so we can delete it.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the app or by email. Your continued use of PharmaMG after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
